HSBC CEO Visit at EACTI

I’m delighted to share that we had the privilege of hosting Md Mahbub ur Rahman, CEO of HSBC Bangladesh, at EACTI – E. A. Chaudhury Technical Institute located in South Surma, Sylhet. It is accredited by Government authorities i.e. BTEB and NSDA. This institute, founded by our charity Foundation, is dedicated to spread technical education for socio-economic development of underprivileged people in a rural setting, thanks to the support of my colleagues, friends and family.
During his visit, Mr. Rahman toured our institute’s departments and facilities, interacting with students and witnessing firsthand the impactful initiatives for women’s empowerment through sustainable income generation.
At a reception held in his honor, Mr. Rahman commended our efforts in establishing one of Bangladesh’s largest private sector vocational and technical institutes. He emphasized the importance of technical education, excellence, and active participation of women, urging students to focus on upskilling for future opportunities and making a positive impact in their communities.
His insightful words resonated with everyone present, serving as a source of inspiration and motivation. We are immensely proud of Mr. Rahman’s visit, which not only enriched our institute but also provided invaluable learning and inspiration from a distinguished corporate leader.
